Recent Downtime

Think I figured out what was slowing down my internets and the lack of updates to this site...

However, it seems a little Mashed Potatoes greased the ole wheel of the internets

People will put Bacon on Anything

I'd like to take a few minutes to talk about Bacon, why, why the hell not. Makes everything better it has the chance to come in contact with. Here are some of my Favorites.

  • Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwiches
What I like to do is a slight variation, instead of bread use french toast, crunchy or smooth, whatever floats your boat. combine the 3 (Frenchy, PB, Bacon) while the bread is warm, let sit for 2 minutes. The key the sandwich is melting the PB, using french toast sweetens it up quite a bit.

  • Pasta with Bacon
Fettuccini Alfredo; add bacon, anything with garlic/olive oil; add bacon. My true all time favorite is Spaghetti alla Carbonara <-- Click it It is as easy at it looks and tastes like heaven in spaghetti form.

Anyone else have any favorites, Bacon included, click the comment button and submit some, don't be scurred.

All Smiles and Sunshine

"All smiles and sunshine, a perfect world on a perfect day
Everything always works out, I have never felt so fucking great"

Does everything always work out? I occasionally like to put shit off for days on end, and when all is said and done. Did putting it off really make a difference? In the grand scheme of things, dreading the act of, or even the idea of something we find awful to do, is it ok to procrastinate?

Either way, it's how we survive in these times that makes us who we are, not what people say after the fact. And you have to take solace in that. What's done is done,...anywho, back to the blogation of the Mole.

Last couple of weeks have been a little bit of blur, but I promise to keep the blog updated more often with my daily musings. Like for instance, something that has really been grinding my gears, is Dunkin Donuts, these incompetent boobs, can't remember two orders or are too busy making 87 different kinds of sandwiches and iced drinks. Dear Dunkin Donuts, stick to fucking coffee, if you can't find employees with enough braincells to process 15 fuckin seconds worth of information. It shouldn't take me 10 minutes to purchase and order one cup of coffee.

Citizen Cope Friday Night at Hammerstein, na na na na na, If you haven't heard his stuff checkout it out, very mellow rock, think David Grey with some umph.

Quick Hits Vol.1

Haven’t, updated in a wee bit, been busy with everyday nonsense, anyhow here are some quick hits for the last week or so.

  • Snakes on a Plane was phenomenal, well worth the price of admission, its pure campy fun. Few parts where I would have jumped out of my seat had it not been for someone clamping down on my forearm, trying to not jump herself, but I digress. It was a fun film to go see on a hot summer night, the theatre was packed and every punchline got a roaring approval from the hipster crowd. Score one for B-Camp/Horror. Now on to the real danger, forget all these restrictions they have in place for liquids, nail clippers, lighters and such. I am here calling out the entire airline industry to approve more stringent anti-snake precautions. Today it’s only a movie, tomorrow it’s some dude on a plane with a giant fucking snake.
  • Bekay really is the king of all things Drama.
  • The buzz of the blog is spreading, I love it, keep reading folks and don’t forget to click the little comment buttons at the bottom of the post.
  • The Fall TV season is upon us, and I for one am stoked. I'll have a full post in the next week or two with my picks for best, worst and must watch.

Had some great Mac & Cheese at S'Mac, inexpensive, great selection and best of all it tastes great; my recommendation would be the Cajun blend, spicy with bits of tasty meat morsels.

Madden 07 = Fun++ Go buy/steal/rent it, tell 'em I sent you

I Hate Pigeons

No I really do, something should be done about these flying-rats. Shitting everywhere possible, getting sucked into air vents, passing for chicken at certain restaurants, seriously, do these damm birds have one positive attribute to contribute to society?

Snakes on a Blog

Is anyone else as excited as I am to see this? Some who shall remain nameless, Jen, are calling it the Must See Movie of 2006. I think we should have some sort of a Snakes on Plane party and or Smokefest prior to going to see it at the Kent Triplex with 40s.

Fun Weekend

Missed Friday night, had an unexpected emergency that to be taken care of. However I was out on Saturday night to celebrate Joe and Maggie's nuptials. Nice place for the most part, Katwalk on w35th and 5th or 6th I beleive. Was a great time, don't remember much, other than me screaming at a cute petite asian girl who was wearing next to nothing, but appearently she works for the bar (sic), otherwise she could have just gone out nekkid and just scrawled "date rape" across her little belly and it would have conveyed the same idea. Also I have to thank Bekay for getting me home, otherwise I would have ended up sleeping on the not so nice blacktop in midtown
